"A great improvement - This shoe is great; the leather inner liner is a great improvement over the original white/black Samba. To clarify: I have owned several pair of Samba's with the white accent. The inner heel of each model wore out well before the shoe was totally trashed. These feel very well built. Also, the tongue is much shorter, which is a welcome change. This will be just my 3rd pair of Samba's in 5 years and I wear them almost every day! Can't say enough about these shoes"

"These resulted to be my favorite pair of shoes. It is the kind that makes you look more or less sporty depending on what type of clothing you are wearing. I use them with short trousers to play volley, and then I can also give seminar group meetings if I wear more serious pants. They are comfortable, and they don't make the feet look very wide. The navy color I've got looks as dark as black. I will certainly buy these again, if they are not discontinued."
