"Whether warm and wet or cold and wet or snow or ice, Long Island winters have them all, and not only one at a time. I have tried so many pairs of winter Shoes, I've lost count. These will be replacing several others. Waterproof so I can get rid of the ones with seams at the sole, fully sized so I can put on either thick socks or two pair if necessary, and soft and cushioned inside. I have had plantar fasciitis and any Shoes/shoe that slips or rubs the back of my heel sets me up for weeks of pain. These are so well cushioned, I feel safe. I shall be ordering a pair for my daughter who hikes."
