"These shoes really ARE a disappointment - I've loved Saucony shoes for years and have been a faithful wearer of the Hurricane series through most of their numbers. I finally had to replace the last of my Hurricane 9's. I've noticed with each later Hurricane model, I've liked the shoes a little less but they've still been much better for me than other brands. I have a foot that's wide in one specific spot, a high instep, but narrow heels that are prone to blisters. The Hurricane 10 is the shoe that finally made me abandon the series. The other reviews are true. The toe box is too shallow, the heel is too wide, and the cushioning isn't very good. The arch also felt uncomfortable. Having read all the negative reviews on this site and others, I'd hoped to be one of the exceptions and love the shoe, so decided to order the Hurricane 10 along with 3 other Saucony models (most of them not the current version of their series), trying on two different models at a time so I could really feel the"
