"When these shoes first arrived they looked like they might be too skinny and too long, but looks can be deceiving. I slipped them on and they felt just perfect. They're light and provide great traction on hard courts. I almost went with more expensive shoes, but (as any tennis player knows) tennis shoes get ruined pretty quickly no matter the cost, so these are the perfect choice. Some people may not like the plain look of the shoe, but I'm sick of overly designed/colorful shoes. I just want shoes that work. The Adidas Ambition STR IV do just that" |

"These resulted to be my favorite pair of shoes. It is the kind that makes you look more or less sporty depending on what type of clothing you are wearing. I use them with short trousers to play volley, and then I can also give seminar group meetings if I wear more serious pants. They are comfortable, and they don't make the feet look very wide. The navy color I've got looks as dark as black. I will certainly buy these again, if they are not discontinued." |

"I bought this shoe for my son who has been wearing them faithfully for almost 20 years. As A matter of fact both of my boys have been wearing them about the same amount of time. It wears extremely well and runs very true to size. Most men and women who have played soccer are true to this shoe. Can't say enough good things about it." |

Although I have purchased in the past, this time, the sneakers seemed a bit narrower as he complained about it the first time he wore - but he did say they have to wear in a bit.

"The Adidas Samba Classic have been a favorite of mine for many years now. They are lightweight, durable, have great arch support, traction on dirt and court (uncommon), and have a very nice look for casual wear. Their vintage look is an eye-grabber, and you will stand out among the sea of Superstar II's that most Adidas fans are sporting. I strongly recommend these for looks AND performance. They are very versatile and are fit for most activities and occasions." |
