"This shoe offers good ankle support, nice looks, soft leather uppers, and hard rubber soles. This shoe does not have the cushioning of a walking shoe (I've developed blisters on both feet) but I hope that the soles are more durable. The soles on this Red Wing chukka seem to be made from a hard rubber."
