"This boot really does try to do it all: protection, performance, ruggedness, comfort, and looks. And while it strikes a fine balance, it's definitely not for the faint of foot. The weight alone proves its heavy-duty composition and construction. It's also quite stiff out of the box, but it will soften and flex with work. "Work" is the key word. You might be tempted to buy this boot just to kick-around in cuz it does get noticed, but don't. Using it for any purpose other than good ol'-fashioned heavy labor is a waste of its touted "engineered durability". Kinda like those soccer moms (or anybody not in camouflage) who just have to drive a Hummer...Don't get me started.Key points:The boot is VERY roomy. Buy at LEAST a half-size smaller than normal (based on your larger foot). I would seriously recommend buying a full-size smaller, then if necessary, exchange up one half-size. Err on the side of snug, trust me. Even with that, plan on wearing thick work socks because the toe box and throa"
