" I bought these when they were on sale for 15% off and am really glad I did. At first, like most shoes, the heel dug a bit into my Achilles tendon area. But it went away after a few days and now they are really comfortable. The padding in the soles is extremely pleasant. Pebbles do get stuck in the shoe. Unlike another reviewer, I find it to be a bonus that you can feel them and thus immediately remove them. I use them on my bicycle and for driving and they are not particularly overly wide or narrow. Just right, I'd say. I'm looking forward to testing the tire-like treads in the winter. The laces they come with stay tied quite well. With other shoes, especially Doc Martens, I have to use a more secure knot. With these, they seem to stay tied pretty well. Minor bonus but worth noting. Though I like the look, they are not suited to all occasions due to the tread being kind of goofy looking. They also seem to scuff a little more easily than I'd expect."
