"I have recently fallen in love with Born shoes. They are so comfortable, sturdy and practical. I did have one disappointing experience with these Born shoes, however. The stitching comes together in an odd way in the inside back lip of the shoe. It looks almost like the leather there is bunched up a bit. I walk several miles a day to and from work and that spot has torn up spots on my Achilles tendon. I have had to put band-aids on the back part of my ankles to be able to bear the constant rubbing. I'm sure that the shoes will either break in or my feet will toughen up, but it has been disappointing. "
